A ride to work in Dublin
    Sunday, April 23, 2006
This is how a typical trip to work in Dublin looks like.
Its not mine though. Mine is a lot shorter.

Please switch off your mobiles in planes. Thank you.
    Monday, March 13, 2006
I flew into Dublin airport today, and I can confirm that it looks exactly as in the video below. Although I sat on the opposite side of the plane, somehow the view doesn't change much, does it? And no, I didn't take a video of it. But sitting there with the thought of the video on my blog, I surely hope I wont find more examples of videos by people who have their mobiles switched on, taking videos when landing in Dublin. In this entry of h2g2 you can read what could happen.

    Not daft at all
    Saturday, March 04, 2006
Whether you want to live in downtown Dublin or on the edges of the "Baile", www.daft.ie is the place to go. On "Irelands biggest property site" everybody can find the long(er)-term accommodation of choice. Yes, this is a recommendation.

    The first glimps of Dublin
    Wednesday, March 01, 2006
While I am trying out the new Google Video feature of pasting in videos directly into the page, this is how it looks like to land at Dublin airport.

Now you can show friends and family what you just saw when switching your mobile back on after landing. Just refer them to this page. And while I am at it: thanks to whoever took that video.

    Irish generosity?
Talking of fire and prejudice, one would like to know if recent events in Dublin actually started like this. Out of pure generosity

    Irish blogs, Irish bogs
Not to fuel the fire of prejudice, but I heard that a trip to Ireland can actually look a lot like this:

Then of course, it must have been a short trip.
