I flew into Dublin airport today, and I can confirm that it looks exactly as in the video below. Although I sat on the opposite side of the plane, somehow the view doesn't change much, does it? And no, I didn't take a video of it. But sitting there with the thought of the video on my blog, I surely hope I wont find more examples of videos by people who have their mobiles switched on, taking videos when landing in Dublin. In this entry of h2g2 you can read what could happen.
Whether you want to live in downtown Dublin or on the edges of the "Baile", www.daft.ie is the place to go. On "Irelands biggest property site" everybody can find the long(er)-term accommodation of choice. Yes, this is a recommendation.
"Dublinks.com is an online service for anyone who is interested in Dublin, opening up new ways for Dubliners to rediscover their city, exploring the growing multicultural dimension of the city and providing the perfect introduction to anyone visiting the city." http://www.dublinks.com
While I am trying out the new Google Video feature of pasting in videos directly into the page, this is how it looks like to land at Dublin airport.
Now you can show friends and family what you just saw when switching your mobile back on after landing. Just refer them to this page. And while I am at it: thanks to whoever took that video.
